"Jodie had been sleeping on the streets for three months when she called us. We found her a bed for the night and a housing advice centre for the next day." Steve, Get Connected volunteer Helpline Worker

Individuals

Get Connected receives donations from individuals several way, which are listed below.  We currently have a limited database of individual supporters and will be investigating ways of attracting new donors, whilst maintaining an excellent level of donor care.

Payroll giving

Many people choose to donate directly from their salary, and use their employer's payroll giving system to make a regular donation to us. This is an easy way to donate, and particularly effective because your donation is taken before tax, meaning it's worth more to your chosen charity - 28p per pound. You can read more about payroll giving on HM Revenue and Customs website. A donation of £6.50 a week enables Get Connected to help one more young person.

Direct Debit

We also benefit from regular donations via Direct Debit, straight from your bank account to ours on a weekly, monthly or quarterly basis. Visit the Make a Donation page to download a Direct Debit form and arrange a regular donation.

Sponsored events

Several energetic supporters have raised money through sponsored sporting activities recently, including Ben and his friends, below, who cycled from Land's End to John O'Groats in June.
